I had the wind knocked out of my sails Monday July 8th. I have shared with you that my right foot is a mess. Made the trip to Raleigh, Durham to see an Awesome surgeon only to get the results he would like to refer me to another physician. The ankle will require a specialist in Ankle Replacement. Hmmm
More good news followed this week when I went in and was told my performance at work did not conform with their expectations. Amazing.
Oh, and a gentleman who seemed to be becoming more than a friend was fired and totally retreated from me.
Lessons in Rejection hurt. My question for this week will apply to everything I do. Do I want this or need this. Do I want more from the man? Yes. I don’t need more. Do I want approval at work? Yes. I don’t need it. Do I want my ankle to be better. Yes. I need it.
Do I want a little house? Yes. I need a little house.
What do you want today? Do you need it?
It is Sunday and I want to worship with others. I need the fellowship and closeness with God. How about you?
