Identify..Someday Someway Somehow

April 14, 2018 by Molinda Goforth Leave a Comment

Identify, Your Someday, Someway, Somehow

Why did I wait so long?

I feel numb inside…..for 3 years I have made statements each week…I am going to Tennessee,  going to get my stuff…going to move….going to …someday, someway, somehow.

I told myself this story.  I don’t have enough money. I can’t drive because of the weather.  I can’t leave Eliana. I can’t do the work I did before because of my foot.  The last statement is sprinkled with truth.

I don’t want to leave Eliana.  There are others here I love and will miss.  Eliana is a special blessing for me. It hurts to go.  It hurts more to stay.

Is your life what you want it to be?  What is your story?

Is it full of Joy? Are unhappy and can’t change anything?  Would you be proud to tell your story? If so, tell it.  If not, be like me and rewrite it!

This Friday is my Someday. My Somehow, is a planned  Southern Route and installed weather app in my phone. My Someway, is supported by love, a commitment to my Sister in Law, whom I have known and loved for over 30 years. When she heard my pitiful story, she refused to play at my party and is coming to keep me company on the ride.

Update – A Winter Storm Warning was issued Tuesday  calling for 6 to 10 inches of snow.  My Sister in Law cancelled her flight.  I will be driving solo and now plan to leave Monday morning.  it is a 3 day drive.

In addition to people I love, I will miss the little zoo outback, populated with Deer, Bunnies, Squirrels and Ducks.

My story is condensed into 3 lines!   Three years summarized into three written lines!

How will I tell my new story?  It depends on how I paint my canvas.  I will paint it with the colors of Love! I will write many statements proclaiming  …I can. My story will be filled joy, peace, achievement and prosperity as my soul prospers.

My soul is healed.  I am going about my Father’s assignment.

My present chapters in Tennessee are filled with some sadness, procrastination of things I should have done, would have done…and Oh, excuse me, without fear I am doing!

I will take a sabbatical from this blog for a month starting Friday, April 13th.  I will post again Mother’s Day and the anniversary date for my marriage to my son’s Dad….May 13th!

In the meantime, I will  write the first chapter of my current story. Some video’s along the way will color my canvas!  You May follow on Instagram for the pictures. View the video’s on You Tube.  Email me if you wish.

Everyone has a story. I want to hear yours!  Let us,

Go forth and prosper,

Molinda Sue

Happy New Year

Greetings,

I slept through the beginning of New Years!  Honestly,  for three weeks I have been very ill.  Apparently the winter in Montana does not agree with me.  A cold and sinus infection wore me to the point of being weary and not able to function!

Yesterday, included a visit to the Doctor some medicine and I feel better today.\

Now, to catch up. Wonder how Rip Van Winkle felt when he woke up?

Tuesday with Molinda & Eliana

April 7, 2015 by Molinda Goforth Leave a Comment

In January I made a commitment to write 31 letters to special people in my life.  They are not complete.  For February I planned to write 28 Thank You notes to people who have been kind and encouraging me with my ankle recovery and life.  The thank you notes are not done.

Mental Awareness:  Unfinished Tasks  wander around in my thoughts at night and keep me awake.  Have you ever experienced that?

Part of my health routine is to start Monday with an evaluation of any  unfinished task hanging out, complete or delete them on Monday. Monday was yesterday and I have letters  to complete and three online courses just shy of being finished.  That equates to many sleepless nights!

Add a bit of humor,  I will not finish this post now, but complete it around 9:oo pm today, when I can say I have completed some of the letters.

Plan for the Week!  It’s a wonderful thought and that is all right now.  Each morning starts with a Bible Reading,  checking to see how many customer calls are for today and a New Start will be Menu Planning.

Of course, following the menu, the grocery store calls. Tuesday will be Tuesday with Molinda and Eliana.  We are cooking!  She is 7 and I am 39 and holding so our Menu is Fabulous!

Until later,
Molinda

Happy New Year!

Good Morning Sun!  Today is the first work day of the new year.  I feel an inner excitement that just bubbles.  All the yesterday’s chores are gone.  It’s a new day, a new chance and increased faith for the future.

Where is the future?  I hold it in this moment.  This moment I am sharing with you.

Moments earlier included a visit with God, a healthy breakfast and surfing the net for more ideas for the little house.

Reset:  This month we will build virtually 2 little houses.  Just wait until you see how easy you can become a builder!

For the first week of this month I am reflecting on the detours I took intentionally and by mistake last year.  I did not get to where I was going.

I declare to make a productive journey this year!

Sunday A Day of Praise and Thanksgiving

June 9, 2013 by Molinda Goforth Leave a Comment

Greetings to the Lord’s day!  I thank God I have lived another week.  A dear friend died this week.  He was the song leader at the Church I attended for years.  His legacy leaves memories of songs of comfort at funerals,  songs of joy reflecting a Christian life, songs of praise, and leadership for the choir.   Although he had a profession, he will be remembered as a Song Leader by many.  In the Bible it states to Enter into his Gates with Thanksgiving and into His courts with Praise.  Jimmy Jackson entered into the gates of Heaven this week, and I am sure he was singing.

My summary of the past week includes the internalized spirit of Courage to  keep me focused. My fill-up fuel for my body, mind and soul is to drink a  Cup of Courage each day.  It isn’t a tangible drink but the acceptance that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

My Recipe Book

Did I accomplish all the goals for this past week?  No.  However, I did complete more by being focused.  Prescription for this week is to drink a Cup of Courage each hour that I am awake.  What are the ingredients for a Cup of Courage?

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

My recipe for a Cup of Courage this week is to hourly take time to reflect and meditate in the law of the Lord!

Wow!   Look at the promise in the verse that follows.  Drinking from  this cup I can look forward to prosperity, good health and leaving behind a good name.

Blessings and Love to all,

Molinda

The Voice In My Head Says Little House Talk!

May 17, 2013 by Molinda Goforth Leave a Comment

Are you listening to the voice of doom and gloom?  How about the voice that says succeed and bloom?

Bloom where you are planted.  For today I am planted in Sevierville, Tennessee.  It is true my roots aren’t deep here and I am subject to be transplanted, but I am a healthy specimen and life is well.

Today, I am looking at a lake lot at Douglas Lake for $1,200 down, owner financing and $139.00 per month.  First, order of business is I don’t have 1200 to put down.  Why am I looking?  By checking this out, I will have an idea of the availability of the land for my little house here.  If I like it, perhaps I can barter for the 1200.00

Any ideas?

Home – Point of No Return

Once it is evident that you are going to your home is going to be taken by the lender as collateral for their investment, your only option is to move forward.

However, before that day, you can try to earn additional money to keep the payments within a safe range.  You could generate additional income by renting out a room in your home.

What do you know how to do that would be of a service to others?  Do it and charge money.

Work with your lender and get permission to list it for sale as a short sale.

Deed the house to the lender.

Landing Here?

January 29, 2013 by Molinda Goforth Leave a Comment

I made an offer to purchase an acre of land today.  It is in the county has a dip in the middle and is surrounded by trees.

The beauty and complications of this offer is that it is a portion of an existing property that is financed by the bank.  For the seller who is struggling with making the payments on her existing loan, selling a portion would alleviate some of the stress.

The complication includes the offer that wraps around the existing mortgage and will need the banks approval.  Should we receive that I will include the details for you to copy.

It has been an awesome day.   Tomorrow, I will make offers on 2 additional properties.  The reason for the multiple offers is that when you are negotiating to purchase without putting money down, it is a numbers game to receive a good acceptance.  It’s a fun way to go!

Define Plan A, Define Plan B

January 22, 2013 by Molinda Goforth Leave a Comment

Plan A for me was the Dream, of completing a little house from a storage building in three months. Due to several obstacles namely money, money and more money Plan A needs to travel to Plan B.

When working with Clients I would define Plan A as the plan to purchase their Wants.

.Plan B identifies the needs and converts the wants to accessories that can be added in time.  Plan A is like an addiction that calls for all the debt that the mortgage company will approve.  The mortgage is approved and many times income changes in a negative way thus adding to the foreclosure list.

Is there life after foreclosure?  An alternative to foreclosure maybe a short sale.  We will look at these two solutions and life after tomorrow.

In the meantime I am physically continuing my quest for land.  Each night I ask my brain for a solution.  Day after tomorrow I will share a creative thought!
