I Slept Through The End!

I slept right through the end of October!  No, I really did not.  I did finish my trip, arrived in Tennessee at midnight.

Reality is that this year is almost done and I am very unsettled.  I am in the middle of the stream now, must find a place to live a job and continue with what I have started here.

Tomorrow I will be in church and Monday morning starts the search for employment.  Activity on the little house vision begins with income.  Interesting in this economy I feel very confident of employment.

Did you Ever Make A House Buying Mistake?

What happens when you make a mistake when purchasing or renting a house?

Lots of times, we tend to procrastinate and do nothing because we don’t know what to do.  I made a mistake coming to Florida.  Three weeks in I am very conscious of this.  It’s like a shoe that doesn’t fit and it hurts more each day.

Fortunately,  I did not purchase the house I am in.  Also,  I have a lenient clause for leaving.  How long should I wait?

Now what?

Thank God It Is Friday!   My mistakes for this week are history.

Florida is a mistake.  I can’t erase it, but will work to delete it.  I am very tired with all the moving.  Tomorrow I will post more pictures and a plan for not letting this mistake slow me down.

Looking For A Bargain?

Remember you get what you pay for.  I have looked for a cheap place to live.  I found three.  Now, I am at the one I chose in Florida.  Saw this little building on the way to Florida.  Just had to stop and see if my stuff would fit!

It meets the criteria for a cheap place to live.  It leaves an empty space looking for Tennessee!

Home is where your heart is not where your hat hangs!  Do you agree?

Is This The Way Home?

Sometimes even my GPS gets confused and takes me to the wrong destination.  Then, I find myself at a service station saying, “How to I get to XYZ”

During the past week I have asked 3 of my tribe if I am traveling in the right direction to go home.  It doesn’t “seem” right, “feel right”  I cannot see around the bend.

There is a house I have never seen in a town I have never been too in Florida waiting for me.  There I will launch my new business, Websites You Control Yourself, and sample other ways for a flow of income.

Today, I am traveling from where I “feel” is home with much sadness going with me.  It’s like being pregnant.  You know the anticipated arrival but the path there seems like a long way.

Off to Florida for a new adventure and more debt free activities, along with the developing dream for the little house!

 

 

Upscale Home!

A new word gives a new perspective to the description for my home!

Upscale:  relating to, being, or appealing to affluent consumers; also : of a superior quality. — upscale adverb or transitive verb.

So,  I am not downsizing, I am building an upscale little home!

Today, I am still in Tennessee.  Tomorrow, I will be in Kentucky and spend a little time with family.  Then,  on to Florida which will be my temporary home.   Realistically, that could be a year, in real time it could be two years.  I will do each day everything I am capable of doing and hope to accelerate time and to be home by Spring 2013!

I Smell Home!

I woke up in Tennessee this morning.  The air is fresh and crisp.  Little Farm animals and critters said Good Morning!  I so wish I could stay forever this time!

Monster Truck!

Most of my belongings are on the U-Haul, which someone else is hauling.  My opportunity for temporary home living is in Florida.  A close friend just purchased a home there.  She lives out of the country and wants it to be occupied.  The rent is almost nothing which opens the door to save.

When I was selling homes in  Lancaster, I had a young lady who wanted to buy.  She needed to clear some bills, so she chose to live with her sister for 4 months and make it happen.  She did!  I will!

Seeing the end results in my mind, puts fire in my bones to hurry home!

Today

Today is the best day of the rest of my life.  I begin my long journey and defined action steps for home.

My nerves are down to one and everything is stepping on it!

I am scared, excited, filled with dread and equal anticipation.  Is this what everyone experiences when they are starting over?

I recall a time in Jacksonville when my Mentor was in her 50’s lived in a beautiful brick home and with a wild hair, decided to sell everything and build a log cabin in the country.  She sold everything, down to personal items! I wonder if she felt the same apprehension that I do!

Ok,  let’s get on the road.  The movers will be here to pick up my stuff at 11:00!  I am in Spartanburg, SC traveling to Maynardville, Tennessee.
